WhY Do PUPPY kindergarten?

Our Puppy Kindergarten is designed to help your puppy get the best start in life as possible, while learning to adapt to daily family happenings.

This is carried out in a loving home environment with both group and one-on-one exercises each day, as well as by socializing every puppy with a variety of people and animals on a daily basis. Each day includes visits throughout the day to the puppy play yard area.

Our trainer, Debbie, also works with the puppies on some training, using the positive reinforcement Clicker Training method, which you can read more about at this link. It is very effective with our young puppies who are very intelligent and eager to learn throughout this enjoyable program.

Kindergarten starts when puppies turn 8 weeks old and can continue with us up until 12 weeks of age. In general, the kindergarteners from any given litter will start on the same day as the litter’s 8-week Go Home Day.

While we recommend training and obedience work after completing 4 weeks of kindergarten as 12 week old puppies are still quite young, our program gives young puppies a foundation for learning that cannot be found many places.

Cost: $350 a week or 4 week package for $1,250.

*Please note that as soon as the puppy enters our kindergarten program, the program fees are non-refundable.
